Buses
Zakynthos has a quality network of roads that covers the entire island.
There is a public transportation bus service for almost all destinations.
The buses fares are very cheap and are collected in the bus.
The central bus station is situated in the islands capital, Zakynthos,
one parallel behind the waterfront (42 Filita Street) and prices,
departure times and other information may be found there.
The Local transportation also proposes organised tours around the
island with stops in the main villages and resorts.
Taxis Taxis
are easily available all over the island and there is a taxi rank
in most resorts. The rates are fixed for the popular destinations.

Boat
Boat is the pleasant alternative to discover the island. Many boats
depart daily from Zakynthos town and other harbours to many destinations
all around the island that are not reachable with other transportation
such: the beautiful island of Marathonissi, the impressive Shipwreck
beach and the many caves.
There is also from Zakynthos town a daily depart to Alikes, Laganas
and Limni Keriou.
Furthermore, small boats can be rented in most of the resorts.
